More Online Marketing Tips
- Most potential customers will browse travel portals containing lists or groups of hotels to do their initial research. After they have narrowed their selection to a few suitable hotels, they will continue research on the hotel websites. Hotels tend to focus on the content of their own websites. When was the last time you updated or improved your listings on portal sites such as www.goireland.com, www.booking.com, or www.donegaldirect.com? Update your listings regularly, and send in new images to be added.
- Create a standard e-mail text and send it to any bride and groom that may have had a wedding in your hotel in the last 12 months, asking if they can send you by e-mail images of their wedding that you can use in the gallery section of your website.
- Dig around in reception for any positive letters/e mails from guests. Upload the content to the Guests Comments Section of your website.
- Get together a list of the contact details of 10 of your common wedding suppliers, add them to the Business Menu section for your site.
- Change the main/header images of your website. These tend to dominate the site, and changing them will give the appearance of freshening the whole site.
- Check what brochures you currently have (Wedding/Conferencing/Lesure Centre/Hotel). Have you uploaded them to the website?
